I’ve updated the schedule of confirmed events. There are a few more that I haven’t signed contracts for yet, but are definitely planned. I’ll add those dates when “the check’s in the mail”. Favorites are restocked, and some brand new materials and mixes. Can’t wait.
In Memory of my "Mule"
Most of you know that Jer started a battle with colon cancer on Easter weekend 2025. He finished chemo in December, got a clear CT scan shortly after, and had ostomy reversal surgery on January 20, 2026. He had beat cancer, but the effects of chemo on his heart were just too much for him to overcome. We lost him on January 21, 2026. The last thing he said to his surgeon before allowing them to intubate him was “if I can’t be well enough to be a market mule, remember that I have a DNR and advance directive”. I’ll hang one of his baseball caps in the booth as a remembrance. He’s sorely missed.
2026 Markets Update
Update at January 5th. Vintage Market contracts have been signed and sent. Those dates are included on the calendar.
I’m adding Lolly by Golly to my haunts this year. Details about the March event on the calendar. Unfortunately, Allen Park High School didn’t respond to questions about the spring event until I had already committed to Lolly by Golly.
I’ll be back at Davison Middle School in April. Details as soon as I get them.
I’m adding Melvindale Farmers Market on Mondays, but haven’t gotten any paperwork yet, so I don’t yet have dates and times.
I’ll be back at Allen Park Farmers Market on Fridays (3-7), starting the first week in May, and participating in the Art Fair on Friday and Made in Michigan. Those dates are forthcoming later this month. I’ll update.
Don’t have dates for Doc’s yet, but I do hope to be back one Saturday a month May through October (except September),
I intend to be back at Frenchtown Makers Market starting in February, for a few Saturdays only. The market will not be going through the summer months, and I haven’t gotten any paperwork yet. More when the dates become official.
I also intend to participate in St. Thomas’ annual craft fair on December 5th on Grosse Ile. Missed last December because of a conflict. Keeping the date open this year.
I’ve made some wonderful market friends who are now hosting events. Additional dates and locations as soon as I confirm.
Looking forward to seeing all of you!
Bracelet Price Change Effective January 2023
The price of single bracelets increased from $9 to $10 starting in January, 2023. Three for $25 will stay the same (so if you get six, one is free), This is our first (slight) increase since we started in 2017. Frankly, there were two factors: dealing with singles and taking a hit on $9 credit card fees. Thanks for understanding,
